What is a back order or on-demand?

Due to many reasons such as covid, lorry driver issues, shortages in materials, the whole country is finding it difficult getting stocks.  So the way we are having to order today is changing.  Just as you would order a sofa from a big high street retailer and having to wait 8-12 weeks for it - we are seeing this more and more everywhere with all sorts of furniture, not just sofas.  Therefore customers are having to pre-order items - what we call 'back ordering' or 'on-demand'.  This also includes 'Made to Measure or Bespoke' items. This means we will take an order for you, but before we take monies out of your bank account we will check stock levels coming in and let you know by phone first, check back with you the expected delivery date and if you, the customer are happy we then continue to process the order for you and confirm an expected delivery date.  We know this is a pain, it is for everyone, but our world is strange with everything going on at the moment and we are all doing the best we can to make things go smoothly. 

Will I get confirmation of my order?

As soon as we receive your order, we'll send out confirmation to your email address, this just means we've received your order in our system and we've pre-authorised your payment method ready for your purchase.

I placed my order but did not receive a confirmation email. Why?

Do not worry. If you recently placed your order and didn't immediately receive a confirmation email from us, then there might be a few issues we can look into:

  1. Our emails might be going to your junk or spam folder
  2. There might have been a misspelling when you entered your email address during checkout
  3. Your email server has very strong spam filters and is identifying our emails as spam so the emails aren't going through.

To be on the safe side, we encourage our customers to provide an alternate email to info@mintedhomes.co.uk, or you can us on 0203 290 6509.

How Do I know if the product I am ordering will be of good quality or arrive undamaged?

We take extra care in checking each piece, even before it is marketed and then we package and deliver it with the same care.

What happens after I receive my order confirmation?

We check with the warehouse to make sure that your item(s) are available and can be despatched as soon as possible. If your item(s) are available for shipping (within 5 business days), we'll process the charges and prepare to ship your order. 

In the event that your item(s) are unavailable for immediate despatch, we remove the pre-authorisation from your payment method and reach out to you via email or telephone.

Why do you need my phone number?

Some of our deliveries our couriers require a contact number to ensure smooth delivery of your order. We won't give to anyone else, it’s kept private and confidential. Plus if there are any issues with your order we can contact you quickly and easily.

Is it safe to buy online through your website?

Absolutely. Here at Minted Homes we strive to provide our customers with a safe and smooth customer experience. This site uses SSL encryption technology so that you never have to worry about credit card safety.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to the United Kingdom only.

Please Note: There may be additional charges for 'offshore domestic regions': the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Islands and Northern Ireland.

Do you ever deliver outside of the United Kingdom?

No sorry, currently we only deliver within the United Kingdom.

How long does it typically take for your products to be despatched?

Usually within 48 hours of processing your order but it can vary for different suppliers.

How long does it typically take for my purchase to arrive once it’s dispatched?

Usually 4-7 business days, however, some larger items can take longer, but we will tell you via email.

A discount code can be used only once and not in conjunction with any other offers.  Please see our terms and conditions document for full information on discounts.

Can my order be delivered to a PO box or storage facility?

Unfortunately not, we cannot deliver to these.
